New Jobs in Nashville
People in Nashville may have a new opportunity to work for a new technology company in the middle of the state. Dozens of jobs are supposed to be supplied by 3M, which is being relocated to the former Dupont site on Swinging Bridge Road in Old Hickory. Citizens will be able to apply for approximately 40 job positions that will be offered over a three year period.
Another good source of employment that people from Nashville may look forward to is the United States Postal Service. Dozens of jobs will be relocated to Nashville from the USPS. The jobs will be coming from the Bowling Green USPS location.
Another company that will be relocating to Nashville is FCC Equipment Financing, a subsidiary of Caterpillar Financial Services Corp. The company is from Jacksonville and will be bringing at least 57 jobs to the city by the end of this summer. The reason behind the move is supposedly an expansion of the company, as their sales are now at a high.
It should be noted that in some cases, people will be relocating with their jobs rather than being laid off; however, many opportunities will also be available to residents of Nashville.
